Cavalry Complex Care Team are experts in the provision of bespoke nursing and support and it is our mission to deliver outstanding care.

Our team is led by a Registered Manager and Senior Clinicians with all staff having 24/7 access to clinical advice. Cavalry Complex Care is able to deliver all aspects of support from companionship to 2-2-1 or 3-2-1 highly complex 24/7 care.

We work with case management companies, commissioners and the wider MDT to ensure people are matched with outstanding Support Workers and Nurses. Cavalry is owned by Nurses and we understand that making matches is more complicated than just finding someone with the right skills and competencies - finding someone with the right personality is equally as important!

Supported Living
Our Approach

First of all, we are ambitious for the people we support: we want them to transition into independent living successfully, to stay well, and to avoid readmission to long term or hospital care. From their first assessment, we will work with each person at their own pace, listening carefully to their needs, hopes and dreams and helping to establish their goals. We will develop a bespoke pathway together with clear, but sensitively agreed milestones to help plan for positive risk taking, exciting new experiences, new skills and new stages in their lives. We want to empower people to develop within a supportive environment where they have the security and comfort of slowing things down if they need to or to work progressively towards their own independent flat or house in the community as that becomes a growing and possible reality for them.

We also firmly believe that supported living provision should be based on needs rather than diagnosis, recognising that services designed around a particular clinical presentation can become institutionalised and do not represent current best practice. Our management team is highly experienced in assessing and placing people according to their compatibility rather than clinical diagnosis. This assessment methodology has been tested, established and proven to be both cost efficient and very effective in supporting people with differing needs and social backgrounds to live communally, maintain tenancies and transition successfully into independent living. Our homes offer safety, not through risk aversion, but by selecting the right mix of tenants with the very best support team that can work with each individual to complete their pathway to independence. We achieve this by having a strong clinical input which far surpasses typical supported living models.
